hello there! youre another calmasis right?
im arianna megido
its nice to meet you!
The pleasure is all mine, I assure you.
im flattered but i hope we will both enjoy this encounter!
tell me, what type of creature are you? are you a first guardian, a human, a troll, or something else entirely? is your magic real or an elaborate illusion?
thank you! 0u0
imagine how much easier it would be to go exploring with that kind of climbing ability!
i think its probably the legs! too many legs moving too quickly, ugh. its creepy just to think about
sometimes the unfortunate parts are the best though! people die in such interesting ways in the old stories
id love to go to some of the places mentioned in mythology and see just how much of it was accurate
is there troll mythology?
… i am sorry serket but your lusus sounds absolutely terrifying and so does your friends
its interesting that young trolls are entrusted to these creatures as opposed to parents of their own species though
You’re welcome!
And yes, that does seem like it would 8e handy. It could 8e good for fighting too. And traveling as well.
The legs are pretty scary. It must 8e the “too many at once squick” thing-a-majig.
The old stories are nice. The unfortun8 parts can 8e sad as well. Like them loosing a child, or their loved one.
It does seem like there is wonderful places to visit. Although most of them aren’t the same anymore.
Well, we don’t really need mythology. There are some amazing tales a8out actual trolls, 8ut it may depend on the timeline.
They are pretty horrifying. 8ut with a lusus like that no one messes with you! Although I don’t have mine anymore.
We don’t have parents, in a sense. Since we are hatched rather than 8orn there is no way to know who’s dna you were made from. Although I heard trolls can produce wrigglers the old-fashioned way.
i hadnt really thought about using it for fighting before though i suppose it could be helpful… traveling would certainly be much easier.
you know ive never really understood why the deaths had to be so sad. death can be a reward and even when its not it would be better to celebrate the life they had instead of wallowing in grief, wouldnt it?
unfortunately most of them have changed a lot. but the spirits could still tell me a lot about the times the myths tell us about!
thats a pity. it seems like if you did have mythology it would make for a wonderful study!
i suppose its kind of like having scary parents then. not so different from some humans after all!
im sorry about your lusus 0n0
ive heard of a lot of trolls with grubs since i joined this site, so i wouldnt be surprised!
first gUardians, yes.
okay! sorry, i was just confused for a minute
also calmasis - the one who doesnt type in mostly capslock - do you prefer to be called cal or calmasis?
i am okay with cal or callie.
okay callie it is! cal reminds me too much of that puppet and callie is a very sweet name anyway 0u0
oh another question! how do first guardians - other than doc scratch at least - come into being? are you created or are you just… there?

It usually starts with an open post, 8ut I’ll make sure to tell you!
That does look pretty wonderful. That should 8e some common knowledge. It’s pretty cool actually.
Most people find them creepy. It’s pro8a8ly the num8er of eyes, or legs. Some of them can 8e dangerous or really 8ig, so I understand the dislike. If a large 8-legged 8-eyed creature cam scurrying at you most people would run.
Very true! c::::B I enjoy human mythology as well. Interesting, and usually unfortun8.
It depends on the lusi. For mine it was like a human cra8-spider, although I haven’t narrowed it down to the exact type. Except it was giant, and 8 other trolls.
My friends Nepeta’s lusus is a horrorterror that can kill every 8loodcolor except Tyrain. Kinda like a giant tentacle monster thing.
So it really depends on the troll, and the 8loocolor. 8ut mainly they’re usually 8ig, and made to help a troll survive.
thank you! 0u0
